Roger Gilbert, MD

Dr. Roger M. Gilbert is a board-certified radiation oncologist with over 35 years of experience in cancer care. He earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed his residency training at UCSF. For nearly three decades, Dr. Gilbert served at Radiological Associates of Sacramento, where he was Medical Director of the Mercy San Juan Radiation Oncology Center and chaired the division of Radiation Oncology. In 2014, he joined Sutter Medical Group, where he continued to provide expert care to patients across the Sacramento region. Known for his leadership in clinical practice and his collaborative approach to patient care, Dr. Gilbert has been recognized for his contributions to oncology treatment planning and multidisciplinary coordination. Now retired, Dr. Gilbert enjoys cycling and spending time outdoors. He remains a respected figure in the Northern California medical community and a strong advocate for patient-centered cancer care.
